Rigging System for lights are devices for hanging lighting gear in specific locations during performances. This equipment is also raised and lowered for loading, unloading, adjusting or conducting maintenance on the lighting equipment. Various kinds of Rigging System for lights are used on stage, including: border lights, and suspension lights, all of which span from stage left to stage right; proscenium and audience lighting, which are installed in front of the proscenium arch; lighting and tormentor towers, which are located in each wing; and light bridges, which are equipped to provide space for work. |

| Suspension Lighting |
Proscenium Lighting

Suspension lighting refers to spotlights and floodlights that shine down from above-stage. This kind of lighting has a fly duct (a wiring duct with power outlets) hanging from the batten. Multiple suspension lights are installed, according to the depth of the stage. |

Proscenium lighting refers to the lighting installed in front of the proscenium (separating the stage and the audience) and above the audience. This enables the house curtain and the front portion of the stage to be illuminated. |
Light Bridges

| Light bridges are Rigging System in the form of a bridge, where border, suspension and other lighting equipment is attached, and from which equipment can be operated; snow, flower petals, and leaves, etc. dropped; and other operations conducted. Light bridges can be boarded from the galleries (work space situated along the walls on the sides of the stage). |

Border Lights

| Border lights are bucket-shaped lights that provide uniform illumination from above the stage. Multiple border lights are installed, according to the depth of the stage. |

Tormentor Towers

Light Towers |
| Tormentor towers are spotlights installed on the walls at each side of the proscenium. They are also called tormentor spots. |

Light towers are the lighting equipment that illuminate the stage from the wings. Raised and lowered by electric winch units installed in the grid, light towers can be stored in the flies when not in use. |
