Main hall (1189 seats) can be convertible into a drama hall from shoe-box type concert Hall using variable speed mechanism. Also, it can be used for big concert, ceremony, public meeting, dance performance etc.
Small hall (194seats) can be multi-purposely used for musical meetings, lecture meetings and for drama etc. using variable mechanism for the ceiling and the floor, whereby, earth floor is the base.

By lifting up the center part of the movable floor, they can be convertible from the end stage to the center stage multi-purposely.

This Hall is provided with the up-to-date stage mechanism.
For instance, the stage with 4 faces each at up stage and down stage which is very prominent domestically is provided. Public performance of the stage art of international standard can be enjoyed here.
By setting movable acoustic panels, excellent concert Hall can be realized.

This multi-purpose Hall, can be used for international congress and/or concerts.
This can be used for an Exhibition Hall and/or a Trade Fair on earth floor by retracting all guest seats under the floor.

Opened in 1923 as a Neo-Renaissance style theater, this theater was newly rebuilt in 1997, whereby, the big old Arch in front of the building was held and kept as it had been. Wide variety of genre, i.e. from Kabuki (this is the major part) to musicals are now being performed.

National Theater is the one for playing on its stage "BUNRAKU" which is a traditional Japanese puppet play and is also an immaterial inheritance of the world.
"BUNRAKU" is now not only a popular name of "joruri", a ballad drama, but also is an important base for preserving, inheriting, and developing Kamigata (Kyoto and its vicinity)art such as Kabuki performance, dancing and traditional Japanese music.

This Convention Center is provided with stage elevators, screens and rigging systems so that various kinds of meetings and/or conventions can be held in it.
